Dear Disability Rights Consortium Members:
Just a reminder that Karen Tamley, Commissioner for the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities, will be the featured speaker for the next Disability Rights Consortium meeting on Wednesday July 24th from 9:30-11:00 at Equip for Equality (20 North Michigan, Suite 300). She will be discussing the City of Chicago’s initiatives on behalf of people with disabilities and also answer any questions people have. The meeting will be captioned for participants, and will be available via webcast at www.illinoislegaladvocate.org.

October 23 – Illinois Laws on Parking and People with Disabilities – Bill Bogdan from the Secretary of State’s Office is the featured speaker.
