Equip for Equality Hosts Disability Rights Consortium Meeting on January 29th -- Featured Speaker: Greg Bassi, General Counsel of the Illinois Department of Human Services.
The next meeting of the Disability Rights Consortium will take place on Friday, January 29th from 9:30-11:00 at Equip for Equality (20 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 300, Chicago, IL).
Topic: Implementation in Illinois of the new Department of Labor overtime Rules. The proposed implementation by the State has raised numerous concerns and questions among the disability community regarding the impact on personal care attendant services.
Presenter
Our speaker this month will be Greg Bassi, General Counsel of the Illinois Department of Human Services. He will be the lead speaker for the meeting and will likely be joined by others from the Division of Rehab Services.
