Meeting to Discuss Issues Impacting Persons with Low Vision or Blindness

On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, Equip for Equality will be hosting a meeting to discuss legal issues impacting persons with low vision or blindness in Illinois. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit input from the blind community on what issues are important in order to provide guidance to Equip for Equality on case acceptance and proactive initiatives. Due to safety concerns related to COVID-19, Equip for Equality will conduct this meeting via Zoom; there will be an option for participants to join by phone. Barry Taylor and Andrew Webb will lead the meeting on behalf of Equip for Equality. This meeting is open to the public, and all interested persons are encouraged to attend.
